Hi Ronny50,

Frankly, I didn't want to be a beta tester.
Nobody is telling you to go with 2.4 - infact, 2.4 is not even out. jrphorbin is advising you about the proposed Ultimate Edition 2.4 Themes which are available for you to try (if you wish). Nobody is asking you to be a Beta tester. You have the freedom to do whatever you wish!

messing around with broken stuff. I just want something to work.
Freedom of choice is exactly what we are about. If you want something that just works with no problems, you could always try an abacus.

Every persons opinion is valid and should be respected. I don't agree with your opinion, but I do respect it.

There is much much more to it than meets the eye Ronny50. Again I respect your opinion, however suggest that the comment above comes more from ignorance about the whole Linux movement than actual researched knowledge. We are not here to make a better 'Windows', we are here to offer something different, something involving community spirit and input from everyone. Whilst some of your comments could be seen as inflammatory, to us it is not an issue. We don't seek monetary rewards for what we do and we really don't mind if you prefer Windows - but we do believe in what we are doing and take great pride in that. If you wish to share in this sense of community, then you are by all means welcome. If not, that's O.K. too. We thank you for your feedback and leave the door open should you ever wish to participate.
In peace.
