Yeah. Not sure what you're needing specifically, but the laptap/netbook is a Dell with Win XP. Has a Bios password that locks it prior to even letting Win XP boot. It was my friends and I told him to remove the CMOS battery and do the jumper. He reported that it worked to clear the Bios boot password. It's been awhile since I wrote this and no longer remember the program that I mentioned, but it was made to be able to go on USB and specifically said I need to use Windows to create it. It was a program to unlock/reset Bios passwords and settings. I have Hiram's disc, but the Dell didn't have DVD drive and I've never checked to see if it has Bios functions on said disc. I do know that a password on Windows becomes worthless when you pop this disc in though. :D
