Hi arctic_drifter and welcome to the forum,

First we need to know what ethernet adapter you have so if you'll open a terminal and run
Code: Select all
lspci -nn

and post the results for the ethernet adapter we will have a better idea of what's going on.

I have exactly the same problem on Ultimate Edition 2.7. Has this issue been resolved yet? This problem is keeping me from using Ultimate Edition, which is otherwise awesome.

Hello PPL.

It is well known the issues with Broadcom.

But you can try to download the Driver from here:
http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/4401.php

Unzip the file and try to install the Driver.
