Can I buy an Ultimate Edition 2.4 DVD?

Help and support for Ultimate Edition 2.4

Can I buy an Ultimate Edition 2.4 DVD?

Postby ElEdwards » Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:37 pm

I tried downloading 2.4 but with my DSL connection, it still took 6-7 hours....then I burned two DVD's, one at 12x and one at 4x....but neither one gets past the initial spash screen.

Is it possible to buy a DVD? If so, how and what is the cost?

Thanks :)

I don't know if the usual places that will cheaply sell you a copy have started distributing 2.4 or not.

But you are on my side of the world. I can burn you a copy at low speed with verification turned on if you like. I'll have to just tape it up between a couple pieces of cardboard or something but it should make it through the postal service.

If you wish me to do so, send me a PM with your name/address and make sure to mention whether you want the 32-bit version, 64-bit version, or both.

I won't be able to mail it until Monday morning when my post office opens. So it is up to El. If I do not "hear" otherwise before Monday morning then I will mail it.

Either way, as long as he gets a copy some way or other. :D

I will mail it first thing. You will probably receive it on Wednesday or Thursday.

I find that this month I have blank DVDs. And also stamps. Just find a stranger in your town that needs help with something, and give them a hand. That is all the reimbursement that I could ask for.
