Ultimate Edition 2.3
1 How do you install ext4.
2Why same old crap with with Nvidia 180 driver i.e. black screen of death in any Ubuntu distro In Mint ,ULtimate which ever.Pclos , Mandriva,Sabayon all simply intsall drivers for sli with no prob.

Never looked there,my machine just works with the oses I mentioned.Iam currently running Pclos,Mint and Ultimate. Only joy is with Pclos.Except wine does not work well for me there. :o

Hello pregister .

you have issues with the part of the system install on you HDD.
if your order of the instillation was:
pclos
U.E
mint

there was no problems at all.
the problems comes with the order of the system kernel.
pclos is the lowest kernel-1,then come U.E with the medium kernel-2,
then comes mint with the highest kernel-3.
the problem is between mint before Ultimate Edition

So from a fresh install(not upgrade) you have graphic troubles from the get go?

Amir thanks for the reply.Those three work well for me in the order I have them.Just any Ubuntu flavor will not install nvidia drivers properly.Also would like to install 2.3 as ext4 just do not know how.

When you get to the partition screen during the install pick custom partitions.Then you can pick ext4.By default jaunty doesn't use ext4,but I believe 9.10 will.
