Cell wrote:Are you running on ext4?If you are it sounds like an ext4 bug(but I can be way off here.Just sounds like something that happen to me,and installing the theme at the time was a flook).Check out the ext4 wiki...particularly the ubuntu section.

I am in agreement with you here cell. I don't think it was a theme issue entirely, but more of a bug with the ext4 file system. I would suggest using the ext3 file system & installing back the same theme package for testing purpose to see whats the outcome!!

Re: Ultimate edition theme pack

Alright.... I will do a reinstal just to make sure. But this time I want to make a custom install ISO for myself. I used a program in the past like 9 months ago. Lost a long time ago to shift in ubuntu generation. I can't remember the name of it. It was a pretty good GUI for creating a custom ISO. I found UCK and I am trying that now. But that was not the name of the program and I am not liking UCK so much either.

Also on the newest version of Ultimate Edition. I want to suggest that the repos for Pidgin are included. I know a lot of people are pissed with the changes that kicked the Yahoo accounts to hell.

I figure its better to make my own custom install disk based on UE2.2. But to include KDE and all the programs I added and updates.

Any suggestions? What are you using?

Alright I will try both methods just to see how each program works. I will let you know how that goes too.

Strange..... I used both programs and came up with vastly different check sums. The UCK program created a file that was only 2 gig large. The Remaster created one that was 2.8Gig.

Alright Cell.

I used the program that you suggest and reloaded under ext3. I reloaded the Ultimate Edition 2.3 theme pack and I am running it without issue. I guess it was an ext4 issue. Thanks for the help. :D
