Thank you!! When I accepted the Updates, I did not realize that I was receiving a new Kernel.

I followed a thread, that I have used before, to successfully remove a previous Nvidia driver and Download/Install the latest driver. All went well.

Do you know if the 190 version of the drivers will have an option to Resize the Display, like the Windows version does? I have had an Overscan problem, with Ubuntu, which I get around by accessing the Service Menu, in my Sony 50" HDTV, and setting Overscan to Zero. I still have a small portion of my Ubuntu Desktop cut off. I am hopeful that Nvidia will eventually add more functionality to the Linux drivers. I hate to mess with the xorg.conf. It is very time consuming.

Thanks

Cool man, I'm glad you got it going again.Next time a user gets on and asked a nvidia question I expect you to jump in now ;)

From what I read It does not.It might in the next version...But its up to nvidia them selfs. They write the drivers, not ubuntu.

The idea is in future releases that xorg will configure it's self....Which Works pretty good now if all your hardware is recognized i.e. tv's,monitors, gpu's ect. Its pretty hard tho for the programmers to get everything...they do it on spare time mostly, and for free, but I think they do a great job.
