I'm trying to install UU Games Edition 1.4. The bootscript runs everytime I restart, asking me to install Flash, Acrobat, and Video drivers.
This is also keeping my PC from logging in auto, because it keeps asking for my admin password to run the script.

How does one correct this issue?

BTW, so far what I've seen about Ubuntu Ultimate Gamers Edition I like! :) Awesome work!

Thanks, I need to open a thread for gamers ;) This will fix it (I assume you have it installed):

Code: Select all
sudo rm /usr/share/ultimate/bootscript.sh

I just installed ubuntu 7.04 again, ultimate was great, but everytime I let envy install my driver I'd get a "No Screens found" error on re-boot. Instead of spending hours trying to get xorg.conf working again I just did a re-install with noraml ubuntu. Althought a bit dry after experience UU, I think I'll build UU from this.

ok, call me dumb, but I couldn't handle it, I re-installed Ubuntu Ultimate Gamers Edition and was smart enough to not install video drivers, I'll just do them manually.

:)

Let us know what and how you got it working. If need be, we can add information specific to your video card and drivers to the FAQ.

Let me know if there are any problems, I have been thinking about writing a F.A.Q. specific to ATI.

There are tools to expand the drive if you use EXT3, reiser or XFS. You could as an option use sbackup to backup your setting etc create the partition to the size you want install and restore with sbackup. If you need help in any of the mentioned please post.
