Hint: Mouse wheel inversion

Postby mpiter » Fri Aug 17, 2012 11:05 am

I have just installed the OS and I a like it. While I was poking around in many directions to discover OS features, suddenly my mouse wheel was not properly managed anymore. The sense of rotation was inverted, i.e., rolling it down made the window scroll down and rolling it up made the window scroll up. For an unknown reason, a program installed a file ~/.Xmodmap containing just one line pointer = 1 2 3 5 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. I just switched digits 5 and 4 and everything came back to normal. So if you meet the same problem, the solution is simple.
