I'm running Ultimate Edition as a virtual machine in VMWare Fusion. I have setup some folders to be shared, but Ultimate Edition doesn't see them. How to fix this?

That article just assumes that once you've setup the folders Linux will automatically detect and mount them. This is true for some versions of Linux, but it doesn't happen in Ultimate Edition. VMWare is already sharing the folders to Linux, but Ultimate Edition is failing to detect it.

Going to give it one more go around and say try here. If that is not the solution i need a little more information such as which Ultimate Edition are you using, as well as what version of VM Fusion you are using.

To be honest from what i have read it does not look good. The info found Here suggest its a VM-Fusion tool bug. I do hope this helps and at the same time sorry that it is not much help at all.
