Usplash plymoth help plz?

I have a Usplash theme I really like but I'm running Ultimate 2.9 and as far as I know it uses plymouth and the scripting is different for plymouth then Usplash.
Is there any way to either convert the Usplash to plymouth or select/set Usplash at boot up?
