tv tuner

my ausus A7sv comes included with a digital tv tuner I think is a liteon device.
Anyone knows how to make it work on Ultimate Edition 2.3?

the sysinfo does not see the integrated tuner but this is what lsusb gives:

lite-on should be my tv tuner ,I looked around other posts and it is reported that there is a problem making this work.
What scpecs do you need to know?

First please do not make 2 post on the same issue and wait for the team to get back to you.

now to your problem (That is really big one),I was looking on allot of the issues on the net,
and the Drivers are on the Development stage.

lets see what we can do the best for you.
I need you First to install in synaptic allot of packages for support,and to follow some steps.
If you want to corporate with me on it let me know and we will be of the way.

sorry for the double posts,I didn't realize.
Do you think I am better off waiting for the next release?
Otherwise I am willing to go through the steps that you kindly offered,
I depend on "open connection" and connect to open network nearby so internet is not always available .

yes you are right,and it is not just bug issue-It's on the Development part.

so if you are ready to play ball hare,please let me know what you have done
with your machine so far on the installation of plug in and software,
on TV issue/support for the TV card?
Then we can go on with some process.

no it was loaded with vista home premium,but I replaced it with windows xp Ultimate made by Derrek,it is xp with some vista add-ons.
