my computer freeze

Hi, first sorry for my bad english, im running Ultimate 1.7 and my problem is that my computer freeze between 5 to 10 or more times a day. The only way for me is restart the computer. How should i fix this problem?

OK, describe what you are doing when the computer freezes on you. I you able to boot, run, do anything?

Do you have your video card driver installed correctly? Is it a matter of the window turning gray in color? Windows not responding?

It's independing of what im doing, yes my computer is starting ok, i can do anything and i get out of the freeze when im doing a reboot. Thats the only way to getting out from the freeze.

So what exactly happens with this "freeze"? Are you able to move your mouse around the screen? Clicking on icons or anything like that work or not? Have you tried the ctrl+alt+backspace to restart X instead of a complete reboot?
