i use pidgin as my daily multi messenger
there was a very good plugins in 1.6 release
there is a specific plugin which make a window appears in the right screen bottom shows
when a user logs on or off or if writing a message
I activated all plugins but didn't find

I found the solution
it's a missing plugin named Guifications
search 4 it and install it in synaptic
