At the risk of again being belittled and mis understood....
I downloaded and installed both 1.7 versions (with and without KDE) on one machine.
Both appear as options for boot.
What is the easiest way to remove (uninstall) one of the OS installations leaving only one complete install.

I assume that you installed them on two different partitions - So I would say that just simply using gparted and wiping the partition with the one you don't want would be the easiest way. Mind you, your grub might be borked when you do this - if the one you want to wipe clean is the last one you installed. One way to fix this is to just simply copy the /boot/grub/menu.lst to the other /boot/grub/menu.lst so they're the same. Do you need assistance with this process?

BTW: As a side note .... I'm sorry to frustrate you with your previous issue. Just let me tell you (hopefully you understand) that when people come here to the forum for help - most replies to peoples issues and problems are answered by an admin or moderator. To put this in perspective ... have you seen how many posts I have in here? They are not all answers to peoples problems, but I would say that on the safe side, at least 1200 of them are. While I post responses to people in a thread, I will try to shave time off of my postings by not going back to read what was already posted. I know this is sometimes frustrating to members of the forum, but it is the only way I can keep up at times. I kid you not, I have seen days when there are prob. 40-50 posts that need read and answers .... hope you understand.
