Anyone have any tips for getting an internship as a Computer Specialist?
Preferably, in Programming.
I am open for comments...just no bad language.

I did not post a poll opinion here is why:
I will be honest I did not care for learning mysql, I wrote a website in 2004 in sql, css and php it was a real chore took me 4 months to write. asp.net as well as php is a waste of time to learn, these are just my opinions, it is extremely hard to get a high page rank using either of the 2. The only exception to this rule is to use apache re-write mod.
C# it is great you will be learning this it is one of the most "in demand" languages & is rough to learn if you know other languages. My usplash maker uses c along with 2 other languages.
I have no clue what elementary statistics are...
hardware is always good to know. I have built probably close to 1000 computers, not to mention troubleshooting. If just for your own porpose it is indeed good to know.
Good luck,
