Glen:
I am so very sorry to hear this news.
I am not much of a poster on forums, but I felt compelled to let you know that I feel your pain,
having lost loved ones to this as well.
I will pray to my creator to ease your pain and grief.
God bless you and keep you close.
Alan

I am deeply sorry. Nothing that I can say, nor platitudes offered by me will assuage your pain. Merely know that I am praying for you and her family in this horrible time. Sincerely, Randy Ballew.

I am probably the quietest member here but have to say Glen I am sorry for your loss but I remember when my father died I was very sad and in weird way happy . My father developed brain and lung cancer after being exposed all his life to paint and asbestos .My father who was always active and always outside doing something and never took any pills was bed ridden for 8 months of his last year of his life and his pain must have been immense because he taking massive doses of pain pills. He had to have two brain surgeries to remove tumors from his brain. Then they had to remove one of his lungs because it was nothing but cancer then his last lung gave out and we had to make a extremely hard decision -- do we keep him alive artificially for our sake or do we let him pass for his sake, we let him pass .I still believe it was the best decision we could have made. I remember seeing his head rising up and down struggling to get oxygen to his body. So when he finally passed I was sad that I would never be able to see him or ask his advice for anything but same time happy his pain had passed.
