Router & NIC for Ultimate Edition

Anyone know for sure if Cisco RVS4000 router is fully compatible with Intel EXP19301CTBLK or StarTech ST1000BT32...and if these will work with Ultimate Edition?

For your intel ethernet card, here is a manpage for the em driver: http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/precise/man4/em.4freebsd.html
I do not see a reason why the cisco router cannot work with the intel ethernet card.

As for the StarTech, I don't know for sure. Probably yes, but I can't find anything to prove it.

Basically if they work for ubuntu then they SHOULD work for Ultimate Edition. From what I read, the intel parts are VERY WELL SUPPORTED BY UBUNTU AND LINUX IN GENERAL.

Thanks for the info. I had read at another forum that the router and NIC card should be the same brand (and share some sort of code number too) in order to be certain of compatibility. Anyway, I'll go with the Intel NIC card. Cisco router was only one I could find that was not the wireless sort I detest.
