I don't have one "YET", but it does look pretty damn cool! cheap too! If only it had eSATA connection though .... might be a deal breaker for me.

I may have read wrong, I'll have to read again, but I thought it used a USB connection, which would let you use it just like a USB drive...Yea, re-read it under specs SATA to USB...my thought is to use it for trying different configurations without having to take my computer apart...(I'm as guilty as Baphomet in dragging out old drives to install things on)

it's way cool, and a good price, but the USB2.0 transfer speed is to slow to use it for anything other than a toy.

I have a 500gb external drive and the difference between USB2.0 and ESATA is day and night ESATA is like having the hard drive installed inside. It is essentially a SATA port with extra shielding on the cable. I might add the cable isnt cheap either. I currently have the drive out of the external and have it installed but I have the case etc.. if I want to go back to external.
