i was using my ipod touch earlier fine, i pressed the sleep button on the top of the device like i normally do, an hour later i went to turn it on again and i had was a white screen, when i slide across the bottom of the screen to unlock i can hear the unlocking noise. the iPod hasnt been dropped as far as im concerned.

i am at school now so i havent got access to my laptop at the moment so i cant restore it.
can u pls help me, even iff someone else has put the same answer as you just type it please...

my iPod is a iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8GB

1. easy fix

hard reset it

top button and bottom button till it shuts off and apple symbol pops up with a black screen.

Allow it to reboot and your done.

2. Less easy

IF that don't work, then recover the ipod firmware.

3. Just plane sucks

IF that don't work then return it or replace it
