cant install shows error 5-move cd-rom/Dvd to cooler envr

Hey guys, I just burned the Ultimate Edition 2.1 image onto DVD
At 1st i tried to install it showed error 5(move cd-rom/Dvd to cooler envroment)
this error was showed at all times when ever i tried to boot frm a live dvd/cd and at all edition of ubuntu and ultimate edition. finally i was able to get sucess from non live dvd of ubuntu 8.4

the -problem is now i want ultimate edition to be on my pc and since i was not able to boot frm my cd/dvd rom ,i am trying my hands on external hard drive 160gb any one has any Idea How to Install Ubuntu or Ultimate Edition 2.1 from external hard dive(not pen or thumb drive ) to my pc or how can i install using cd/dvd without error is there any problem with my cd/dvd drive ??how can i overcome it??.i have a intel 32-bit processor

Unplug all your internal drives first and then install to your usb drive. Keep in mind you have to have the ability to boot from usb for this to work. There is a tool that comes with Ultimate that will make a bootable usb drive to do your install. It is called make a USB startup disc(System Administration). Then when you want to boot into Ultimate just enter your bios and change the boot sequence. Or just take th iso image and use the tool to make a bootable usb drive and install to your internal hard drive(without unplugging anything). Check out your bios and see if boot from usb is an option. If it is you are good to go, if not maybe we can come up with something else brilliant....Don't forget to partition your drive with partition manager first before you attempt an install.
