Hi. I'm new to both Linux, and to this forum. I was just wondering how I would be able to install some Nvidia drivers so I can actually play some games?
And on another point, my computer seems to lag a bit.
My system specs are:
AMD Athlon 64x2 5000+
Nvidia 8600 GT+
2 Gb RAM

Hello Lyggy and welcome to the U.E Forum.

To install your Deivers Go to =>System=>Administration=>Hardware Drivers=>Enable the 3D.
In the button right option, and wait for the process to end after downloading the Driver and install.
Then Restart your machine.

Thank you very much Amir. Do you have a solution for the laggyness. According to ubuntu tweak's system information. I'm running an i686 architecture yet i have a AMD 64X2 cpu. Would that affect anything?

Hello Lyggy .

That is got nothing to do with this,I work with Intel and I have the same I686 architecture = Encryption of ext4.
and No that will not affect any thing on your machine.

I just hope that you have update the Ubuntu Tweak to the new Version on your machine. ;)
