hi all,
ive forgotten the user name to log in on2.0 gamers ed,any way out?

Way to go, boru(I did that with my revenue Canada tax account and had to re-register-what a pain in the ass).
You can try this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UsingTheTerminal
Add a new user with a password and see if you can log in then. don't forget sudo in front of any command.

Thank you for the info above, it worked perfectly, I forgot my password on a 2.1 set-up, now I can log-in!
