My First Stargate Atlantis Grub Theme
This theme is based on Tv Show Stargate Atlantis!
I included a Picture preview and a zipped grub them.
Don't forget to extract

You will need startup Manager!

The Stargate is closing for good...on television anyway. Sci Fi Channel today quietly revealed that Stargate Atlantis would not be renewing the show for a sixth season and that season five, currently airing, would be its last. Stargate Atlantis is a spin-off of Stargate SG-1, which ran for 10 years on both Showtime and Sci Fi beginning in 1997. Atlantis began airing in 2004, and will conclude with its 100th episode in January 2009. Atlantis built on the successful science-fiction franchise created by the 1994 MGM film Stargate, and follows a crew of explorers who travel to a far off galaxy to learn about the lost city of Atlantis. The show won't simply blink out of existence, however. The show's cancellation came in a press release revealing that a Stargate Atlantis movie is in the works. Following in the bootprints of fellow fare such as Battlestar Galactica and SG-1.

Yeah, both my wife and myself are great fans of BSG, and I like pretty much all SciFi. BSG will air it's final episode this Friday evening, completing a 14-hour marathon - this (the last) season all aired on Friday starting at 7AM CST on the SciFi channel (channel 244 on DTV)- PVR is set to record the entire days offering of BSG.
This has been a really great show, and we will both be sorry to see it go away (as a 1st run series). This has been one of the most unpredictable SciFi series I've ever seen - always "knocking your socks off" with some completely unexpected development or twist in the plot. Most excellent.
Stargate has been a "Fridy evening staple" in my house since the 1st episode. With my PVR I never miss an episode of either of these great shows. 8-)

EDIT: atlantisback, Thank you for the Links to the Disney and Stargate boxed sets. I've been looking for a good Disney collection for a while. :D

I tried watching the show a few times, but have never actually sat through a whole episode. The acting seemed a little stiff and I got bored quite quickly. I am however a Star Trek fan(old version Captain Kirk and next generation with Jean-Luc Picard). The original for it's camp and the new one for it's good acting.

Season 5 of Stargate Atlantis was the last series. Stargate Universe will replace it in the near future with Actor Robert Carlyle taking the lead role.
Like all great series, eventually they run out of energy and have to make way for new concepts. I suspect that like Startrek generations, Stargate and Stargate Atlantis will go on forever simply because they represent brilliant story telling and push the boundaries of the imagination. Strangely these Sci-Fi series have a way of creating their own virtual world that draws you in.
There is some excellent TV shows at the moment (24 & Damages) that suck you into their virtual world and have the power to surprise and make you think.
