I thought I would post for those that would like to know why I selected the name "Ultimate Edition". Primarily because I already get a ton of traffic for theses terms. Probably the most important point I would like to express for others to see is my serps for the terms "
Ultimate Edition" #2 may sound bad when I turn up #1 for many, many other terms, but when viewed as I see it many may be looking for vista ultimate edition (m$ is currently #1 for the terms ultimate edition BTW) and jump on board perhaps what will be their greatest experience. I would also like to point out with my recent purchase of
ultimateedition.info (currently un-indexed). It will soon be #1 for the same terms, my other site will be pushed down to #3. I can foresee in the near future m$ will have to take second place, beaten down by 1 man... TheeMahn
The name "Ultimate Edition" did not come without thought even from the beginning (this is when Vista was about to be released). I am a highly intelligent man, I don't like to brag, but I am a member of Mensa (not by choice, ASVAB scores got me listed) who obviously has a good grasp of HTML, CSS and Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.) and utilize those tools to my benefit. I also take in to consideration as the above shows of what terms will be a popular and work the site until I get a high position. Perhaps If I get time I will open a thread on S.E.O. for others to learn.
Beyond websites... I do not feel Ultimate Edition to be a bad name for an OS that will indeed be the Ultimate Edition. Some may find this hard to believe, but I only used Ubuntu a month or so before building my first release, probably had written 50 or so mods by that time. The latest build I just built a few minutes ago, I have written modules to strip the name Ubuntu from the distro & permanently set the Usplash, as of now I have 192 modules all will soon be available for download so you can make your own distro; just in case you don't like the name Ultimate Edition
Best regards,
TheeMahn
