Hi Infam0us.
Can you first make sure you have 'ntfs-3g' installed please (In synaptic)
Secondly, are both drives the same, ie both Sata or both IDE?
Lastly, did you shut down your 'Windows' environment correctly? If unsure, boot into Windows and then shutdown again. Do Not hybernate or suspend.

Cheers.

1.How can check if i have "ntfs-3g"?

2.Yes both are sata (one is a 500GB and the other is 1TB)

3.Yes i've logged to windows multiple times and i've completely shut it down with no problems.

Open a Terminal and type in:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

If you don't have it, the above will install it.
Now restart Ultimate Edition. Now see if you can see the drive.
Which version of Ultimate Edition are you running?

Crap, i just noticed that i said that i moved to windows, i meant that i recently moved FROM windows to Ultimate Edition....sigh....

I saw the freedom that linux provides and so i was able to break free from the windows chains and make the jump to linux :)

We'll get you sorted yet!

Unfortunately this did not work. Also i opened gparted cause i was curious to see if it would see my windows drive (the 500gb) and it did BUT it says that the drive is "unallocated", i again went to windows and made sure that it shut down properly but still nothing.
