ultimate player won't launch

Posted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 10:26 pmThe dependencies didnt help. More wierdness now. Compiz stuff doesn't work (cube/wobbly/etc) can't even move a NONMaximized window. did compiz --replace, changed to metacity and back, rebooted. No help. Is my 3.2 broke????

Posted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 10:48 pmok. solved parts of the problems by deleting .gnome2 folder in my home folder (the panel had disappeared!!!). now, when I do cube, it works, but has issues, like remnants of desktop left on sides that flicker. I know, I'm a pain. but I gotta ask! Ultimate player works now, since I deleted .gnome2 btw.
