It just dawned on me after my last post that perhaps the "Classic GNOME" DE here on Ultimate Edition was actually Cinnamon, or some derivative of it. I use Cinnamon when I try to do stuff in Mint 12. Not a big fan of GNOME 3 and I absolutely abhor Unity.

Cinnamon isn't used in Ultimate Edition, at least not the versions I have, anyway, but who knows?
Personally I don't like it but it's miles better than Unity! :lol:

The CheckGmail is broke. Had to revert to gmail-notify
