Yes, I have thought of doing that one day. But time is needed and that is something I don't have right now.

NO- no joke. Was curious to find out how much of it was Ultimate Edition and how much of it was Mint. You answered my question with your post in the 1.7 section though.......

Okay, I see I'm not the only one that read your post and understood you to mean you'd never heard of Linux Mint or Ultimate Edition; which had me pretty confused me as well.

I see now you were asking more along the line of what percentage of this is Mint and what percentage is Ultimate Edition; not "What is this 'Mint' you speak of...". Ah the foibles of our chosen medium, eh?
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am...

LMFAO!!!, Seriously, I just laughed so freaking hard over that!!

It does move along rather quickly. I get about a 15 second from boot up till GDM and 10-15 seconds until desktop. Right now I'm not using the LinuxMint repos at all. There is nothing in them that I want that the Ultimate Edition repos don't already have. Plus of course the Ultimate Edition repos have even more in them. As you can see from the screen shots I even ditched the LinuxMint Menu in favor of USP SVN menu. I love that thing. For some reason LinuxMint just flies on my computer. Don't know why, don't care why. Sometimes the results are the only thing that matters.
