Who is currently using Ultimate Edition as their main OS?

I am, 2.6.3 LTS. Rock solid, good looking and fast. I dual-boot with Win 7 Ultimate, but use that mostly for games. (Dragon Age, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Oblivion, Arkham Asylum).

2.6.3 LTS is my main OS too (web/email/most stuff)-

Triple booting with Win7/64 (an occasional game/ms publisher) and XP/32 (not much of anything anymore)-

Ultimate Edition 2.9 at work, 2.6.1 at home

Why are 2 people using 2.6.3 and not the new Ultimate Edition 2.9? Is 2.6.3 the most stable or something? Just wondering, because it seems like that might be the best one out or something. Thanks!

Ultimate Edition 2.6.3 is stable and very reliable-

I tried it awhile ago, everything works perfectly, and I have it configured and looking the way I want-

And has long-term-support-

I tried installing Fallout 3 on Ultimate Edition 2.9 but it didn't take. I was trying it with PlayonLinux. So Windows Vista is my main OS.

Ultimate 2.9 is my main OS for general use and artistX1.0 for art related projects.

2.6.3 is the one used by Thee at home, so he recently updated all the drivers, kernel, etc. and released it as 2.6.3 LTS. So, in a way it`s newer than 2.9. Rock steady, yet with newest software.
