LM+Ultimate Edition would = Awsome

I've been trying out Linux Mint on my test hard drive and I have to say that I'm really impressed. It's not just the features, cause I know how to set all that up myself, even though the MintMenu is rather nice. This distro is just fast. I mean really fast. I don't know how they did it considering it's based on Gutsy (Slow).
Now the 2 best distros I know (IMO) are Ultimate Edition and LM. I think it would be awesome to get a Linux Mint Ultimate Edition. I thought about this last night and remembered the script that upgrades Ubuntu 7.10 to Ultimate Edition 1.6. I tried that and everything seemed to work fine. WRONG. I booted up this morning to that section in grub and I got a nice light show. The usplash would come up and then the monitor would start blinking on and off. Oh well. One can dream right.

I still think that a collaboration between us and Linux Mint could produce a very awesome distribution. I don't think there would be another on that could touch it if one were made.

If there are Apps you would like included in the next distro
Post in the "Suggestions" section, and ask for them by name.
No guarantee they get included,
but you have a much better chance if TheeMahn knows which apps people want.
Chances are pretty good that if they can't be included in the distro they will be added to the repos.
