Ok this is just sick or I am

Postby dalgar » Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:38 pm

OK so this weekend I decided to setup my spare PC with Ultimate Edition 1.7 after sucessfully installing on mu laptop.
Here is what I have as of now:

Laptop: Ultimate Edition 1.7 dual boot with (Shudder) Vista
PC - 1: Workhorse: Vista (for now)
PC - 2: Ultimate Edition 1.7

Now what is sick is PC1 and PC2 have Synergy loaded and I am sharing the keyboard/mouse between Ubuntu and Vista. Copy and paste work great.
Next as I am typing this I am installing WinXP on a virtual box on PC2.

Next will OSX.........

Cheers!

Since you still use Windows, you might want to try out these useful applications.
Flv Extract at http://www.moitah.net/(requires .net frame work 2.0 at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en)
Avimux at http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/
Audacity for Windows at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Now you can boost the volume on those flv videos.
My favourite is Flv Extract!! All software should be this easy to use.

Hey PCH! Thanks for the info. To tell the truth I've switched all my machines over to Ubuntu. I loaded vista and xp onto a virtual drive so I can test the software that I have to.
So far everything I usually do in M$ I can now do in Ubuntu and FASTER!!! since I don't have all bloat sitting in ram.
Rendering video is so much nicer.
I will post more later when I get some free time! LOL yeah right...what's that?
