If your bios is configured properly to use sli, one command is all you need the howto's above are overkill in my opinion, unless it does not work in windows as well for example. The command to issue:
- Code: Select all
sudo nvidia-xconfig --sli=aa
the aa can be replaced with
auto or
on I like high definition graphics and why I use aa (anti-aliasing mode).
Outputs:
theemahn@SledgeHammer:~$ sudo nvidia-xconfig --sli=aa
Using X configuration file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".
Backed up file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' as '/etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup'
New X configuration file written to '/etc/X11/xorg.conf'
