Thanks brother,

I have had the request many times & knew it would be some "work" The board upgrade gave me a harder time then the language packs. Scares me everytime I upgrade the board an error and good bye 35000+ posts. Sure I downloaded a backup, but an error = days of work to bring it back to where it was.

I may eventually integrate a translator into Ultimate Edition, I know once again some work, but not beyond my capabilities.

Amir,

I know you are from Israel, what is your native language? I have been to Haifa, years ago in the military. If it is Israeli, I am sorry phpbb does not support your language. Arabic if I remember right is what you speak & is listed.

A pretty complicated language btw The only words I learned while I was there ;)

Sahibi (Saa-hebi) صاحبي

‌Sadiqi (Saa-dee-qee) صديقي

Rafiqi (Ra-fee-qee) رفيقي

Ok here we go:

User control panel

prefs.png
Select board preferences

Select Arabic

results.png
Results...

They read from right to left ;)

Post something in Arabic so I can see the results, if this does not cut it, I will integrate translators in Ultimate Edition 2.4. I will break the language barrier one way or the other...

Tell you what you are getting way too many Ultimate Edition symbols ;) I will make you a mod, if you assist me in breaking this language barrier, everyone will benefit. I will give you software to try and let me know the results. What are your thoughts on this?

Enjoy I am sure it at least helped,

Also theres a section at the home page http://ultimateedition.info at the lower bottom right hand corner, where theres a section that says "Translate My Blog" with some common flags that will translate the Forum/Board language to that county language. This method is not permanent, its just for temporarily use!! An this option does not give all the available languages that you would normally get if you go through your user profile systems as TheeMahn had instructed to!!

As time progress we will need to think about upgrading our Servers/Service/Bandwidth to feed all theses end users with all these great services/features & wonderful releases that we offer here. When this is all over, we will all be bilingual to some extent  . We all see the numbers/real time stats of our "hits/bandwidth" used in just two days of release. Hi TheeMahn and my man darkchild666 .

TheeMahn In Israel we speak HEBREW,not ARAB.
so just for the memory of you in Israel that you have been to Haifa,
and you have told me back in that mail what you have eat there ;)
back on that mail when we try to have some kind of working together ,
The U.E with JaY.CO.IL.
anyway to be hungry In Israel I'm sure that is was not A problem for ya.
O.K for the explanation on how it works I think I gut the point,
I have to post it to the Israeli's on the site, and to the other on the Israeli's sites,
that will be for the benefit of the U.E for good.
Like you can see on my blog, any new development I post there.

To help, that is way I'm here for Thee, and there is very good team on the site,
that I can go along with them.
If you have software for me to make tests on it there is no problem with me at all.
all day that is what I'm doing to get solution for users on problems here and in Israel as well.
well my EN is not like the American's but PPL get use to understand my way to get help,
as you can see on the forum.

The translation is some thing that the Israeli's need to get things dome on the best side.
I can tell you that to work with darkchild666 and cell is like brow.
and we respect the pro work together for the communality on the site for there benefit.
So if you want me to have that software that will to good for the HE users no problems at all.
And I thank you for that option to deal with get solution for users.
I will take few min to see how it has to be done,
then I will post it to my blog and to the others.
I can't right in HE on the site, but we can make some kind of How To in HE for the users
that will make it easy for them to get the support that they need on the site.
and again that you for the time to post me back the answer on what to do.
and of cures to my man darkchild666 ;)

end something in HEBREW for you test is coming up here

תודה.
אמיר.

and if I will use the FoxLingo for the translation:

Thanks to - TheeMahn on a great job for the benefit of the user in the Hebrew language,
And correct its system and management site for the user in the Hebrew language.
I personally would like to thank the team you desire to reach the users in the Hebrew language.
In this way the community speaking the Hebrew language of the community feel of the ultimate system.
And desired Batrcm.
Thanks a lot for the investment, and thank you for giving the system a lot of great work environment.
Yashar Koach TheeMahn site staff,
That 'will give you strength to continue and improve, and only the best for the community of Linux users!
Thank you heartily successful.
I especially like the practice in Israel to say:
"Only Bshmhot"
Thank you.
Amir.

thee I have made the change to the HE LANG
but it is not translate the post it self
just the board
so we need to get the translation of the post of PPL
if that is the software that you have talk about it will be intresting
I know that we have in Israel that software that cold
TRGUNET-TARGUMATIK
that can easily in sec take the all page and translate it from EN to HE
I personally use the FoxLingo with firefox to get it done
not the best but good enough for me.
one more thing Thee
to bypass the bug of LANG from right to left I think you will have to
insert batten for the left and right in the window of posting on the site
so the HE users can get it right or other LANG that right from right to left
that is a well known for as in the BB on sites in Israel
that is way we have PHBB-IL
that can correct that issue for us
Thank you
Amir

nothing personal, but I updated the Ultimate Edition 2.3 page today and added a "now working server", the owner reported a TB of transfer in 1 day, when it was not working, I do not want to quote him now. The server I paid for has tremendous capabilities, I grant you not all users live in the US & can see the stats.

That month is now over, I seen ~275 Terabytes of transfer, pretty crazy huh? This does not include mirrors. I also host a repo as well as ultamatix also feeds from the same server, now I start to think wow what a server... Yes it is all that and a bag of chips.
270tb.png

That is the tip of the iceburg that was 90% transfered in less then half a month.

I know I preach Terabyes all the time, when Ultimate Edition 2.4 hits the net will be Petabytes ;)

Do you know where a majority of my traffic comes from minus U.S.? Spain... Funny a single site with more traffic then distrowatch has, a good review will do that even if in another language.

Bienvenido a bordo,

TheeMahn
