i just switched from xp to ubuntu, but i have 1 terrabyte of things i would like to keep on my other hard drives and i would still like to be able to write to those hard drives, but when i go to drive>properties, permision, all the persmisions are set to read only and i im not able to modify them, is it possible to get this hard drives working again without erasing them?

Have you tried using: Applications> System Tools > NTFS Configuration Tool to set write support?

thanks for showing me that daddy i didnt see this option before, i will try it when i get home, and thanks TheeMahn, you did a great job on putting this distro together

Edit : thanks it work!!!

Edit: apperently i ended up deleting one of my hard drives, now when i select the hard drive under parttition editor and try to allocated it, it says error while setting new disk label, any thoughts with whats going on?
