I'm brand spanking new

I am Shamalamadingdong and like my topic subject suggest... I am brand new to the Linux stuff. So please , any help is good help. Never messed with anything on this side of the tracks and can't wait to figure it out. Really like the interface, mainly wanted it because I am sick to death of the way MS is going/pushing/and forcing it's "stuff" on the general public anymore. Latest Win 10 is so resource draining, unless you are rich enough to stay in the "click" to buy and update every other day, you get bogged down by the "stuff" included in the OS anymore. I am using dual boot Win 10 / Ultimate Edition 5.1 on an Asus MoBo. Hoping to update here in the next few weeks on all the hardware in my system, so until then I am making do with what I have.
I am a gamer and really love my Diablo 3 Ros so I can't wait to figure out how to set up for that. Trying to figure out Wine and playonlinux at the present time. I tried posting in Wine and Linux but I don't know if it was accepted , for some reason today everything I try to do in the forum I need to re-log inorder to try and post. So I have no idea whats going on. I tried posting this to Wine and Linux to reply to a post made by Joker...below is my intended post in Wine and Linux....
"Could you please help me to learn the ins and outs of these programs please? I am completely new to all of this and trying to figure out the set up of both programs and what I need to do to get fully operational in the use of Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls. My season 9 Witch Doctor is missing me... and I am hoping to introduce her to a new flavor of OS. "
so if it did get post please let me know. As for contacting a moderator on the issue I don't know how to , I don't see any online.and I tried messaging Joker but I have no way of knowing even if that is an option, to message other forum members. I added them as friend , and was viewing the users profile, but see no option to message. Someday I will figure this all out , so please bear with me... I am trying.
