I now the vid is very short I will make longer one, it was just to demonstrate how everything works well on live session . Even record my desktop compiz everything and that directly from DVD "Amazing". Only one thing I not --hist the default theme is not that of "UE3.0 default" that's e bit strange but dues not bother me.
Many choices are presented theme's software like we are use to in Ultimate Edition editions.

Very great work and I will injoy it very much !!!!! <BREW>

Litlle update after installing UE3.0 wireless works out of the box even with this kernel for (broadcom BCM4312)
Just one little detail start theme default(not UE3.0 default) background none after installation.
Solution for those that not now this = right click on the desktop "change background" and much fun open's up to you.
Also conky is not by default there.
Solution = open terminal and type conky and there it is. <BREW>

heh guys, i too had the black screen - NO wallpaper - i did have a functioning gnome.......... easily solved tho.

I have just tried using the KDE Plasma workspace.......... it opens and then as the box in middle of screen comes up ( picture of HDD + tools + ? + ? .................... The screen just fades to black, with just the cursor visible.......... i waited a couple of mins and a little dialogue box popped up saying" updating files.........something, something, something " ................i waited 5 mins, another dialogue box saying update complete................... and back to black screen.....just the cursor .... nuthin, nudda, zack zilch......................Ctrl+Alt+Delete .......... up pops reboot+logout+off options box

now so far everything i have tried In GNOME works no problemo ..........driver installed, compiz works, games work internet, torrents , music players-rbox and ultimate player , conky, smplayer and vlc, cd ripper

So surely it cant be put down to a bad burn or anything,

Any ideas on KDE plasma ...................i run 2GB ram 256mb dedicated graphics on a nvidia card ............

cheers DD

We always knew that Thee liked dark themes. What could be darker than a simple black background, lol?
