Help and support for Ultimate Edition 2.9

Loving 2.9

Once again, it is so nice to run this distro. Easier to install, now that (at least for me) the nvidia troubles of 2.7 and 2.8 appear to be resolved. No more entering boot options to get the display working during and after installation. Thank you TheeMahn and any one else who put their time into this. It is spectacular! With my backups, I was able to fresh install and have everything back to goodness in less than 2 hours.
The only issue I had was that the conky builder script knocked out my own custom conky settings twice before I noticed that it was in the login programs and removed it. Fortunately, due to good backups, restoring conky was no big deal. Just wanted to mention this very minor point, in case it might prove useful to others or give devs food for thought on future improvements.
Thanks again!

Hello, Glad that your Loving 2.9! Glad that you were able to figure out why your custom Conky was over written, and thanks for the heads up on that! Nothing beats having good backups, never know when one might need to back something up. Enjoy the U E 2.9 and the forum web pages. <BREW> <BREW>
