Gúrú Linux ríomhaire is right what I seen in the video is defiantly a video card related issue. Safemode vga is most likely the answer, some other options are to try as follows by pressing F6:

- Other options... Ignore the Ultimate Edition 3.0 that has been built, just an alpha.

I guess they feel with the opensource movement on graphics drivers solves all. I can't wait to see how they intend to handle wayland.
