just wondering. I am using 2.8 lite now. when a new release comes out (2.9) will it be available for upgrade or clean install only.

Hello 81golfcaddy, That is a good question ! as this is the first release of Ultimate Edition LITE ! But I would think at this point until you hear different, You would have to do a fresh install, as TheeMahn builds lite the same way as Ultimate Edition Standard ! ( Wow ! That is the first time I have ever typed that ! as there is nothing "Standard" about Ultimate Edition !! 
) I am currently working on a "How to" back up and restore made EZ ! and should be done shortly ! I want to test it before releasing it ! I do know TheeMahn has been working on some new projects, several at a time, and does plan to make an "Upgrade" option available in the future, more than likely from an in-house PPA !! Wouldn't that be sweet !

thank you for the answer. the only reason i used the lite version it was under 700 mb. and my dvd burner kicked the bucket. got to pick me up another one. so this leads to a follow up question. can you upgrade from lite to regular ultimate edition. if not I would be interested in a easy back up of all my settings.
