(unsolved) 2.8 lite: do menus update ?

Help and support for Ultimate Edition 2.8

(unsolved) 2.8 lite: do menus update ?

Postby brjoon1021 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 3:34 pm

HI,

cool idea, by the way. I have used LXDE ubuntu, crunchbang and PCLOS varieties. The reason that I always end up going back to a bigger desktop environment is because I need the menu of applications to self-update when applications are installed or removed. LXDE distros I have used do not do that so far. If you don't keep up with it the menu is full of removed apps. I find adding the proper menu entry for newly installed apps to be too hard to want to mess with LXDE...

Does Ultimate lite update the menus itself ?

Thanks,

B
