I have had no issues with ether, as far as your updates go, as long as you don't Upgrade lucid to maverick in Ultimate Edition you should be OK, but if you want a definite answer, if you could post a screen shot or shots of your update managers read out, then we could see what ya got going on!
Kewl...
I have to discover where drafts of replies are stored. That function does not work in many forums but I have an inkling that they work here.
With Maverick I got this message from the package mangager:
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: gconf2 (>= 2.28.1-2)
So I installed Lucid and got this message when I opened Tweak:
It is highly recommend to enable the stable source of Ubuntu Tweak to get security and normal update.
If you don't enable the source, you will need to update manually.
Would you like to enable the stable source?I flipped a coin and choose yes. I then checked the version and yes it was updated! Ahhhh small victories!
It stomped my paths so I re-entered them. I has a better syntax than the previous version.
GRRR small defeat. It still did not work. Though I have not rebooted. In part because I can't find where drafts are saved here.
As far as the updater I have no idea on how to capture a scrolling window that is much longer than can be seen. Some window utilities do that but neither of the included capture utils do that as far as I can see, nor do I see how to output a list of the suggested updates.
I have to run. I will reboot and get back with you.
BTW I also notice that the package manager in tweak now works and something called Source Center has a 64 bit update for Adobe Flash. What to do with that if anything?
Thanks!
