Rollback to standard installation

Postby burns » Sun Aug 15, 2010 7:27 am

hello,

yesterday I installed virtualbox and had to uninstall kvm to make it work.
so I uninstalled kvm (also 2 other packages which depended on it).
this took a long time and after uninstall completed most of the software in the software menu was gone away (like ftp-programs, dvd-ripper...) .
How can I go back to the standard installation to get these programs and codecs back (also mp3 codecs are gone away)?

Greetz

Hello burns & welcome to the U.E Forum.

sorry to say that there is not Rollback option to the system as full process.
You can Reinstall the system.
You can use Rollback to packages, plug in as one process , but to Rollback all the system there is no option.
