Ubuntu Open Office woes (solved)

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.6

Ubuntu Open Office woes (solved)

Postby kghosh22 » Fri Jun 04, 2010 12:47 pm

Along with the UU2.6, Open Office 3.2 (Ubuntu Version) was also installed on my system.
I made some technical drawings which had text also and wanted to export them as pdf. But for some reason, the generated pdf file only contained some lines and NO text. I tried to change the settings of the pdf setup, but it was of no use. Finally, after one whole day of trials and searching on the net, I learnt that the Ubuntu Version of Open Office has some unfixed bugs, which are not present in the Star Office version.
So, took help of -

to install, and now, the pdf's are the right way up !!
