Note:The above links are for Ubuntu and i guess it should work for Ultimate Edition 2.6

Install from synaptic the software -Unetbootin+Language pack for Unetbootin .
And please look for TheeMahn on the Hot To work with it .

If you have still have Windows (XP/Vista/7) available to boot into, there's a great tool here that couldn't be easier to use: http://www.linuxliveusb.com/

Ultimate Edition isn't on it's list of supported Linuxes, but it works with it. Typing this message from a 4 gig USB stick I created as a test, using the X86 32 bit edition of Ultimate Edition 2.6.

And just for the "WAY" not to install - "Unetbootin+Language pack for Unetbootin"
That has Ultimate Edition inside to install from synaptic isn't that the best solution :?:
