Greetings one and all! I had been having issues with playing you tube videos and vids from other sites. They ran choppy, they would freeze up. It really got under my skin. I am running an older machine, but that was not the problem. I finally went into the add ons for firefox. disabled IcedTea NPR web browser plug-in. And low and Behold all my issues went away.

Hello Bnjamin_Breeg.

One more way to go around it is to configure FireFox to work with VLC on all the options of the player.
That sould do the trix. ;)

It wouldn't let me add sun java or vlc plug-ins until I disable Icedtea. Now all is good and I'm a Happy Camper again :D . Thanks for your input Amir

Thee, helped me find my issue. After I threatened to take a sledge hammer to my computer (I have anger issues lol). It was my router that was the problem. Found it out after taking my tower to his house.sometimes it's the little things that escape my attention.

Hello! I have installed Ultimate Edition 2.6 x64 using a UNetbootin Live USB stick. I restarted and logged into the new OS, and ran the update manager, and rebooted again. Then I installed the Latest NVIDIA drivers, rebooted, and got this:

(EE) NVIDIA: Failed to load NVIDIA kernel. Please check your
(EE) NVIDIA: Systems kernel log for additional messages.
(EE) Failed to load module "NVIDIA" (module specific error, 0)
(EE) No drivers available.

I tried ALL 3 versions, and (With different messages) got the same results...logging in in low graphics mode. I also tried EACH Linux kernel, and, in each kernel, ran the recovery mode and used dpckg (repair broken packages) after an attempted NORMAL boot....all to no avail.

...Help.....?
