Hello maxmojo53 .
What does "update every Restart+feed mean?
Thank you for your Question. To have good working system you need to follow some steps.
Firs of all - start your Firewall.
Then download and install the NEW package for Ubuntu Tweak here from my post on Ubuntu Tweak.
1- you need to Update your feed when you Enter your Desktop.
2- you need to Update/Upgrade synaptic right after the the feed Update.
3- After Update/Upgrade synaptic open terminal and Update/Upgrade your system with:
- Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update
Then: - Code: Select all
sudo apt-get upgrade
Then make sure that you have Ubuntu tweak update/upgrade.
Look in the 3 party to see if new source is up with software that you need Like:

Now to solve all the issues with keys on your system ,
AFTER YOU MADE RESTART TO YOUR MACHINE.
Just copy and past this command in your terminal and hit Enter.
This will get all the keys in one command.
gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 2EBC26B60C5A2783 F7D0E1722382D57E 7D2C7A23BF810CD5 4874D3686E80C6B7 6B15AB91951DC1E2 5A9BF3BB4E5E17B5 C5E6A5ED249AD24C 2D79F61BE8D31A30 28A8205077558DD0 E43D207C62D38753 61260473F9D8BC54 6E871C4A881574DE 6AF0E1940624A220 71346C8340130828 5A9A06AEF9CB8DB0 3B22AB97AF1CDFA9 && gpg --export --armor 2EBC26B60C5A2783 F7D0E1722382D57E 7D2C7A23BF810CD5 4874D3686E80C6B7 6B15AB91951DC1E2 5A9BF3BB4E5E17B5 C5E6A5ED249AD24C 2D79F61BE8D31A30 28A8205077558DD0 E43D207C62D38753 61260473F9D8BC54 6E871C4A881574DE 6AF0E1940624A220 71346C8340130828 5A9A06AEF9CB8DB0 3B22AB97AF1CDFA9 | sudo apt-key add -
Now Restart you machine once more time , and make the same process here in the top side.
Then - go to my post of the update/upgrade your Kernel + clean old packages here:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4419After the process of the Upgrade of the system - Restart you machine once more time.
Now you will have the latest Kernel, new packages on the synaptic.
From here you will start to get all the new packages an NEW Kernel for your machine.
This is what I have meant on the process of do the following steps to get it done on your system.
Hope this will Answer your Question maxmojo53.
There is no shortcut to make here,
There is the right way - and the wrong way.
you can chose the best way to have your system working.
