Theres a few wma files posted on this forum that haven't been resolved...I personally been able to play everything I have in my collection. If I remember right wma's made with windows movie maker, and some other window apps are encrypted, and can only play in windows(DRM).A lot has to do with 64 bit codecs too...tho they work they always seem to be behind the 32 bit codecs in playing a lot of files....and there thousands of posts on the net to back this up.
I'm not saying this is the case here...like I said I'm just throwing the fact in.It could be that you don't have the right codec.Installing the codecs from Ultimatix,or synaptics should bring in everything you need...including the dependencies.
like I asked...if one knows the file played in a linux environment before then it makes it a lot easier to trouble shoot.Perhaps post the vid,and then others can try it.
