Ultimate Edition 2.4 will not boot after battery drain?-[Solved]

Postby NicelyMKVI » Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:19 pm

Hello everyone. I installed Ultimate Edition 2.4 on my Acer Aspire 1410 11.6. It worked flawlessly until I let my battery die. With Windows 7 I get around 7 hours of battery life. With Ultimate Edition I got about 3. My battery depleted and cut off. I assumed it just hibernated etc. I cut it back on and it boots to grub where I choose Ultimate Edition and then it goes to the Ultimate Edition boot screen with the small grey status bar at the lower right. That is as far as it will go now. The status bar never starts to load. It worked perfect except for battery life which could be simple settings issue. Please help. Having to use windows :( right now.

Well, I booted up under recovery mode and closed evolution and liferea. I then restarted and it booted up normally. Not sure what fixed it but it is good to go now.
