Ultimate 2.3 gaming Gnome only?

Finally installed it on my home machine and booted it, I planned to use it as my basic OS, and I noticed it the boot up that there was no KDE option. So, I suppose that installing KDE through Ultramatix is the way to go?

Hello billhedrick.
yes that is your option.
the system come with Gnome and it is full with all the games on it,
so there is no more room for KDE so you can add KDE from Ultramatix.

It is KDE 4.3
I would prefer KDE 4.3.1 anytime over other KDE4 versions. It lovely and they have done some great job this time with release of KDE 4.3 series.
Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
